11:25 pm - European release of Chasing The Grail

darlakane
The release of "Chasing The Grail" has been delayed in Europe until March 15th. The distributor we had in place was unable to meet their obligations to the band and its fans, and dropped out at the last minute forcing us to delay the release.

The good news is, Plastic Head stepped up big and in record time, and will release the record in the UK/Europe on March 15th and the even better news is that shortly, there will be big news exclusively for our fans in the UK.

I'm so very sorry that I've been neglecting this place so much. I promise I'm gonna try my best to change that. I actually got to go to two Mojo shows this past tour and each one has been a blast. No surprise there. :)

A couple of minutes ago, I stumbled across this new video for the song "Home", which was filmed on the tour.

Uncle KG in da Hizzzz
Posted in General by Breaker on the November 25th, 2007

Outside of the band I have very few close friends. In this installment of the Mojo Mindset podcast, I am joined by one of those close friends, Kerry Gilbert. Kerry recently visited Chateau LeDuke and we spent a couple of quality days training, eating, male bonding and yes, recording this podcast. Kerry used his years of experience working in the field of public relations to conduct this informal interview with me and to occasionally make me feel better by laughing at my jokes. So sit back and enjoy another episode of the Duke’s mindless gibberish and incoherent ramblings.

A Field Guide To American Politics podcast interview TONIGHT! 10-24-07

Hey folks, just a heads up that Rich Ward is doing a live podcast interview tonight at 10pm Eastern Standard Time. The show is called A Field Guide To American Politics, and will discuss politics, patriotism, and of course, music. The show is an hour long live show and the interview would be half one-on-one with the host and half open phones.

The url for info about the interview is at http://www.allamericanblogger.com/podcast/

Get Right with the Lord

Mike, Rodney, Lord Nelson and I sit down to shoot the breeze. Lord gives us a tour of his childhood and family life, including a story about how he was schooled in the ways of hip-hop through his brother’s friendship with the late Run DMC’s Jam Master Jay. Lord reminisces about the first time he saw Stuck Mojo and discusses the events that led up to him becoming the band’s front-man.

I asks Lord why more rock band don’t write songs about girls with big asses. We talk about Mike’s role in the band as the new guitar player and why we waited 15 years to become a five piece. A few minutes are spent discussing life on the road, including how unfortunately easy it is to get your drugs and chicks for free and why Rodney wears his ipod every waking minute of the day.

The Mojo Mindset: Episode 3

www.dukerocks.com/mojohome/audio/mojo_mindset_2007_07_11.mp3

Rich, Mike and Big Drew discuss how Colonel Sanders is to KFC, what The Cyber-Tribal character (Snappin Necks, Pigwalk, Violated Ep cover art) is to Stuck Mojo. The guys take a minute to answer some fan email questions and segues into a discussion on the current state of music and the music industry. Mike and Rich discuss how to get a great guitar tone. Rich talks about how disappointing it is to see more and more bands, including Ozzy's band, performing on television to a taped track. Finally, Rich vents about how the Dutch label Sonic Rendezvous, that he signed a 2 year licensing deal for Sick Speed with, continues to sell his music years after the agreement has ended and still has never been paid for the thousands of records that have been sold.

8:42 pm - SBK now available at your local music shop in the UK, Germany & Japan

darlakane
Southern Born Killers now available at your local music shop in the UK, Germany and Japan.

We are happy to announce that in support of our upcoming fall tour, we have reached agreements with several distributors to import copies of the new Stuck Mojo album, Southern Born Killers. As of today, it is now available at HMV stores throughout the UK via Cargo Records UK, all throughout Germany via Just For Kicks Music and in Japan through RB Records Japan. These copies were manufactured and shipped by the band and include the bonus DVD featuring the Open Season video.

To continue our mission of staying as completely independent artists, the above companies have paid Stuck Mojo in advance for these copies. By purchasing from them in your local music store, you can be sure that you will be directly supporting the artists (Stuck Mojo) who created and recorded the music.

In the future, there will be more announcements about the availability of Southern Born Killers in cd stores all around the world. Thanks for continuing to support us in our attempt to bring you music without compromise.

Respectfully, Rich Ward
